HONG KONG

YES, I'm back from Hong Kong!(last saturday actually LOL) I was too lazy to do anything after my HK trip and yes, after almost a week, I'm gonna post all the pictures and craps up 8)

There's no full version of our HK trip in this blog ( It'll probably take up to.... 4 blog post I guess?). You could visit either Germaine or Lena's blog, and my blog will be showing you guys the place to shop and  how to get there.

*

A nice hotel is essential in an overseas trip because, who wants a dirty, small, uncomfortable hotel after a long and tiring day of shopping and walking non-stop? Tadahhhhhh! Our hotel:

It's located at Tsuen Wan and the nearest MTR (A.K.A Singapore's MRT) is Tsuen Wan West MTR station, just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Although It's pretty far from the central area like Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok, the MTR is just nearby and it's the most convenient transport in HK. You guys can reach any destination you want through MTR.

The view from our hotel room

OH YES, a HK Map and MTR System Map is essential too if you're not familiar with HK, and do your homework beforehand! I don't understand how would you NOT do your research before traveling? Even the smartest ass on earth would probably get lost in an unfamiliar place. So, get a Map, do your research online, MARK down the places that you want to go and look for the nearest MTR to reach there. Remember to buy an Octopus Card(A.K.A Singapore's ezlink card) and top up at least HKD200 excluding the deposit of HKD50, so that you won't be wasting time topping up your card once it run out of values.

Germaine and I. I'm wearing the shirt from Marni for H&M and I like the material so much! it's so comfortable. Totally best for summer.

Lena and NIcholas

The first stop:
Where New Town Mall(Heaven for girls seriously), Ladies' Market, Fa Yuen Street and Langham Place are located.

New Town Mall: Exit D2. Our two girls probably spent a lot here but I only managed to get a clutch for............... SGD$5! The material is good and soft so it's worth the price... Hello? It's freaking SGD$5 !!!! Remember, always compare the price in different stores. For example, you might find a shirt that's SGD$12 and you think it's damn cheap, but found an exact same shirt at SGD$7 WTF. I guarantee, the girls will go crazy because there are too many stores!

Ladies' Market: Exit E2. I'll NOT recommend this place for shopping and buying souvenirs because it's so expensive and the people there are scary and unfriendly. Coercive selling? Yes. Getting a good deal there? you might but most likely no. You could probably just visit there for experience? Hmmmm....

The only thing that you cannot miss there is their thrift stores at the side of Ladies' Market. They have 2 freaking floors of clothes for each thrift store. Warning: It's kinda dirty and dusty, but if you don't really mind(like us LOL), you could probably find some cool vintage stuff down there.

Fa Yuen Street: Exit B2. Stores at Fa Yuen Street are mostly selling sneakers, sports shoes, Dr. Martens and Red wings. It's cheaper by a little as compared to SG because they do not have taxes here. Another part of Fa Yuen street which have More girls stuff, have to alight at Prince Edward Station Exit B2.

Langham Place: Exit E1. Where Monki and one of the H&M are located. There's nothing much for H&M. I feel that is it the same as SG H&M. They probably have more stuff in HK but I think the reason is because they have lots of H&M stores here. We have only one H&M store in SG and of course, the items in SG are easily run out of stock. So, if you think you wanted to get something that's out of stock in SG, get it from HK instead. I got my rounded sunnies from there which I've been looking for it since I saw it in FashionCitizen's haul video. It's the correct size for me because my head is too big. Hence....... I'M SO HAPPYYYYYYYYY!

Another day, we went to Tsim Sha Tsui where The One Shopping mall and DNA are located.
The One Shopping mall ( Exit B1 at Tsim Sha Tsui station) has nothing much, it was so boring.

We ended up in Granville Road (next to The One Shopping Mall) and took some pictures in the alley:

OOTD
-Rounded Sunnies, from H&M
-Electric Blue leather jacket, from Uniqlo
-Basic tee, from Topman
-Spray on Skinny jeans, from Topman
-Classic low cut leather shoes, from Dr. Martens
-Baggu Duck bag, from Baggu.

Along Granville Road, there's a lot of stores you can visit and shop, and there's a thrift store down there too.

You cannot miss a dispensary there! they sell lots of facial, hair etc. products and it's a lot cheaper than in SG! you name it, they have it. (e.g The Body Shop , SK II, L'oreal, Olay.....)

DNA is located at Cameron Road ( next to Granville Road)

There are lots of cool stuff and most of our souvenirs are bought from there. You just have to patiently shop the entire building.

This is a picture of a thrift store. FYI, SGD1 = HKD6. Do your math and you'll know the price 8)

After that we went to Yau Ma Tei, where Temple Street is located, and found this Gourmet Desserts Cafe:

They were being awarded Gold Award for Dessert Team and The Most Creative Award in some competition and their desserts is FREAKING DELICIOUS I SWEAR ~ And most importantly....The cafe has FREE WIFI !

The next day, we went to Hong Kong Island area to shop. The first stop was at Central. I bought my Marc by Marc Jacobs Laptop case there and that's all I bought at Central. It's more on luxury goods I guess and if you're a H&M fan, the largest H&M store is located there.

Next, we went to Hollywood Road located at Sheung Wan MTR Exit 2A. We had a hard time finding the place and I swear even with the HK map, it's still so confusing. But at last, we found the place!!

Isn't that looked like Haji Lane?!

We found this damn cool vintage store! According to the owner, all their items are found in UK. Don't worry, all their items were sent for washing and all that before they sell it. Warning: If you're a cat haters, you might not want to visit them. The owner is a cat lover and his cats are cute! I know I know, cat haters won't buy my story.

Bang Bang Vintage Store.

We also found this ice cream yogurt store and the owner are really nice! It's call Edit.
Good environment, nice yogurt. If you're bored, go up to the second floor and shop. Why Haji Lane doesn't have ice cream yogurt store like this?

We were allowed to write something on the post it. Spot our work when you're there!

We went to Causeway Bay at night and managed to snap this picture *ignore my face*

OOTD
- Denim shirt, from H&M
- Printed button down shirt, from Topman
- Spray on skinny jeans, from Topman
- Classic low cut leather shoes, from Dr. Martens
- Gold digital menswatch A168WG9, from Casio

And these are my buys!

If you ask me where to get that polka dot button down shirt, it's from Bang Bang Vintage store and it's the only one. ^^V

I'll end my post with a picture of all 4 of us!

PS: I will be adding a formspring at the sidebar. If it's there, it's there. If not, you have to wait 8) I've the right to NOT answer some of the questions ( cuz' I'm bitchy like that LOL). Like I said, It's not a very fashion Fashion blog. It's a combination of my life, fashion and music. I'm very welcome you to leave any questions and I hope I can help (:
