If you take a look at all my OOTDs you will realise that I tend to change my dressing style quite a bit. Sometimes I do feel embarrassed because it means that you are always following trends and therefore fail to recognise what really suits you.

On the other hand, I do believe that trying out new styles is the only way to develop your own unique style and taste, and you should always keep pushing your boundaries and adopt the "I don't give a F" attitude.  To be honest, I always get negative comments about my dressing just because those commenters are not comfortable with it. I mean, hello it's me! I will never not ignore all those comments and continue to be myself, because eventually everyone will get used to it - Floral prints, short shorts and printed shirt anyone?

For year 2013, I will opt for minimalism and monochrome. I can already see some huge changes in my wardrobe - Black, White, Grey, Navy Blue.

Black T-shirt from H&M; Mandarin collar shirt from Zara; Pleather shorts from TaoBao; Shades from Bangkok. ( I'm wearing black low-cut shoes from Dr. Martens)

Quick update! School is starting very soon in a few days and I'm really excited! I've not been doing anything productive during my school holiday and I hope all the school work can finally keep me occupied.

P/S: I'm getting myself a decent camera real soon! You will be seeing some quality images in the future!

90s look

 photo 12777c07-4dcc-46c8-a20b-29195638f578_zps586f534d.jpg
T-shirt from BKK; Pleather shorts from Taobao; Bomber jacket from H&M; Jeffrey Campbell x The Damned Shoes from SoleStruck

I really like the 90s fashion and I think I was kinda influenced by my sister when I was young. I used to copy her look (white t-shirt + Jeans + denim shirt on the waist), very simple and casual yet chic. Since the 90s look is on trend now, I tried to gather whatever I have from my wardrobe to bring back the all-black 90s look, with my bomber jacket on the waist + simple T-shirt and complete it with my JC shoes.

Bangkok Trip

Hi guys I'm back with a new blog post on my trip to Bangkok! It's not a very comprehensive travel guide to Bangkok because we did not follow our agenda closely unlike my previous trip to Hong Kong. I'm pretty sure that there are many blog posts by other Singapore-based bloggers since Bangkok is becoming a prime area for hardcore shoppers like us! Here are some of the photos + a video too!

Back to basic

Striped long sleeve turtleneck from Uniqlo; DIY distress jeans from New Future; classic low-cut shoes from Dr. Martens

It's been raining lately and I love it! I guess I'm more of a 'winter' person, but living in this little red dot means you have to deal with "summer" ANYTIME. It can rain in the morning and the next moment you check your iPhone, it's 34 DEGREES CELSIUS. It's kinda frustrating though.  So a few days ago, I chose to put on a basic turtleneck because it's slightly warmer than normal basic T-shirt etc. Kinda in between. I especially love this piece of turtleneck from Uniqlo due to its soft fabric. Do wish for a stabilise weather so that I could dress accordingly without looking like a retard.

OOTD: Sports-Luxe

Blue sweater and sweat shorts from H&M, Sneakers from Jeffrey Campbell x The Damned.

I always doubt my friend's photography skills, but she's really done a great job this time round. It's an impromptu decision to take pictures on a rooftop and I really like how it turns out. Did i mentioned that it's all taken using an iPhone?

I'm really into Sports-Luxe kinda look. Sporty, casual and chic. You can't achieve that look without a pair of sweat shorts, which tones everything down into a more casual look. Who say you can't look good in it?

OOTD: Overalls

It was a really great and eventful Saturday I had, hanging out with my favorite people basically. The Perks with Felicia + Amirul, and then Halloween Night @ USS with my best friends of 7 years. I swear it was one of the best day I've ever had. I felt infinite HAHA.

OOTD: CAMO JACK

My first official #FOTD (Food of the day) photo. HouseWork: Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Toasted Brioche, Hash Brown and Roasted Tomato Salad @ Food for thought.

Being a "visual" person sucks. My friends and I took awhile to understand the menu that filled with words, but without pictures. The food is good though.

Camo Jacket thrifted from Sungei Road; Burgundy(?) chino pants from Topman; Navy blue buttoned down from Topman; classic low-cut leather shoes from Dr. Martens.

OOTD: Ombre Sweater

-Ombre sweater, from Topman
-White button down shirt, from Uniqlo
-Tailored shorts, Topman
-Classic low-cut leather shoes, Dr. Martens
-Satchel bag, from Hong Kong

I got this Ombre sweater from the sale rack at Topman, and it costed ONLY SGD$44.10 ( U.P SGD$109). I LOVE IT!

I paired it with shorts, together with my satchel bag for a more casual and studious look. If the weather allows (which is highly impossible in SG), i would pair it with my skinny jeans and beanie for a more winterish look.
